Assault, medium, heavy, normal (50/50), balanced, specs. All those vests will tank the shot.

Light vest has a really buggy rare tank, I occasionally tank with it on and have about 35 HP remaining.

I call it "shot in the toe/finger"

It's because you shot them from the waist down. Any shots to: arms, back, chest, head (ob) will kill a light vester.
