I don't think it'll matter since consoles are shit compared to PC. There are advances in PC technology every 12-18 months, in accordance with Moore's Law. PCs are flexible enough that I can upgrade my PC for a while before it's incompatible with the newer generation of parts. Consoles are just stuck with what they come with. How old is PS3 or Xbox360? That's how old the tech they're carrying is.

I guess they maximize on price versus power, no one wants to spend $300 on just the graphics card for a console. I'm sure it will be graphically fine when they optimize their code for just one graphics card.
