How to Render Fire in Paint.Net

Hi all !
Here are 12 steps with pictures how to make fire effect for better modding !!
STEP 1
Open Paint.Net. You can get it here Paint.NET - Free Software for Digital Photo Editing

STEP 2
Create a black to white gradient. Select the gradient tool, and, from the center of the canvas, click and drag to the bottom.

STEP 3
Create a new layer. This is easily done, just click the "add layer" button on the Layers box.

STEP 4
Click the "Properties" button on the Layers box while the new layer is selected. This will open a dialogue box with a few options. On the drop-down menu within, select "Overlay".

STEP 5
Click OK!

STEP 6
Render clouds. From the effects menu, choose "Render" and then "Clouds." On the drop-down menu that appears set the blend mode to "Difference." Then, click OK.

STEP 7
Repeat the effect. Use the key combination "Control + F" to repeat the rendering of the clouds twice. They should now look like colorless flames.

STEP 8
Flatten the two layers into one layer. This is possible by going to the "Image" menu and selecting "Flatten."

STEP 9
Select "Curves" from the "Adjustments" menu. This will open a dialogue box with a graph.

STEP 10
Change the drop-down to RGB.

STEP 11
Move the Blue and Green lines to match the picture to the right. This will give the flames the colors ranging from red to yellow.

Click OK and then save the file.
