    Angry Warning: Information Stealers

    Read this carefully!

There have recently been some activity about stealing your account information.
So, for anyone that should see threads with outside links, do NOT open!

We minions isn't online 24/7 and can therefore not protect you from this when it occurs.
So therefore, use your brain and don't open the outside links.

What should I do if I have think my information is stolen.
    First of all:

    1: Disconnect from the Internet.
2: Run a Full Virus scan.
3: Re-connect to Internet and check your e-mail.
4: Look if you got any posts for MPGH about password resetting.
5: Do as the Mail says if you didn't change this.

    You can also try to:

6: Reset the password to change it back.
7: Be more careful next time.

    Thanks for reading.

And think before you act, there are those who want to ruin for you.
(Even if you think it can't happen you. It can.)

Feel free to post threads or anything related to this cause.
    Anything else will be deleted.

Also as a tip, never store your passwords on your browser (including Mozilla Thunderbird). They are often stored in plain text or with a static key (which when found, can be used to decrypt your passwords). If you have Firefox, consider using a Master Password. Also, consider using secure password manager software such as Keepass (freeware) or RoboForm (pay software). On Keepass, you can install a plugin which can fill username and password details on-demand without having to remember passwords (KeeForm, KeeFox, PassIFox or ChromeIPass plugins). The same thing is already built-in into RoboForm.

Also, if you didn't know, Windows Live Messenger e-mail/passwords can be decrypted and there's no way around that. You'd have to store your password in your password manager or just have to enter the password each time you want to log in. It may seem like a hassle but it's a simple way to improve your security. Just do a quick Google and you can find sample code for MSN/WLM password decryption very easily.

    It's called Anti-Keyloggers - They are as effective as a anti-virus

Meaning sometimes programs do slip though

Also use effective passwords google the requirements for a good password

    Stealers != Key-loggers (!= - Not Equal)

Yes, key-loggers 'steal' your information but a stealer is something that actually, when you run it, takes your information. (from browsers, and anything it's built to steal from) It's instant, it won't keylogg you. (Unless it's a keylogger/stealer combo) It uploads the data to a webserver for the owner to see. (I know this because I've done it before)
