So, I'm going into highschool next year, and I've never smoked weed before, but I want to. None of my friends smoke enough to just hang out with them and get high, so I don't know how I would be able to do it. What was your guys's first time like?

First time? Didn't get high. Second time? Fucking amazing.


My tip to you, if you want to feel it, smoke about a small bowls worth to yourself, taking very small hits. You won't be able to powerhouse it right away.

For your second time, roll it up in a joint. It feels more relaxed and will help you achieve that nice body high more so than a head high.

And don't tell people you smoke. I made that mistake.

Okay, some advice (read it all)

• Some first-timers can't feel it. I would make up something about your brain not knowing what to do with the THC, but I'm not. I really don't know why, you just don't feel it your first time. I didn't.
• Make sure to smoke around experienced smokers and/or sober people. It's safer.
• Don't leave the smoke sitting in your mouth. INHALE it, and hold it in your lungs for a while.
• The smoke will probably hurt your lungs. Bring some milk/orange juice/ice cream or you might throw up.
• While cannabis is not very harmful, it can accelerate the process of mental disorders in some people. If you have an anxiety disorder or a serious mental condition it would be wise to stay away from psychoactive.
• Visit the reefer club part of the forum, there is some good information on weed and making bongs etc.
• Go to the Cannabis section of Erowid. Possibly the best source of information on drug related topics on the net.

First time:
My first I smoked a lot. Like, 1/4 of an ounce of hydroponic weed between 5-6 people. Around 6 hours before our main sesh, we smoked 2 joints between us (I felt nothing but minor relaxation) . 6 hours later, we all occupied a VERY small garden shed and closed the door (this is called hotboxing). We had two home made bongs and a joint each. We smoked our joints and I felt pretty relaxed, only very minor effects. Then for the hour and a half we smoked the bongs, and boy did we smoke a lot. The stages of a high (for me at least):

1st (small intake of THC): Relaxation, stress reduction, edge taken off things, mild euphoria
2nd (small-moderate): Altered state of thinking, moderate relaxation, things seem funnier/less serious, minor disassociation from body.
3rd (moderate, the stage most people get to): Mild-moderate paranoia, moderate relaxation, things seem much funnier, you made experience closed eye hallucinations (uncommon)
4th (moderate-high): Moderate paranoia, boring things seem much more interesting, open and closed eye hallucinations (semi-common), relaxation, dissociation from body, things seem very funnier
5th (high-very high): Moderate-extreme paranoia or anxiety, very abstract way of thinking, lethargy, loss of care in things, extreme relaxation, friendlier mood, loss of inhibitions, feelings of love/attraction, you/others become more humorous, hallucinations some-what common

hmm...my first time was last year i remember it well....

my two friends and I were hanging out again. One of them takes out a pack and starts smoking, I already knew he smoked. I gave him a weird look though. Then, he asked my if I wanted to try, but I said no and started asking questions about addiction. He says its all bullshit, and passes it to my other friend, who takes like 3 puffs, and my friend takes it back telling him to not hog it all. Then, to not be a pussy, I took one quick puff. It tasted like rotten milk/ absolute shit to me! I started to cough and spit the taste out. On the good side, I could feel all my stress coming out of my shoulders, just floating up, out of me.
