FPS Drops when fraps is on

So, when i run fraps, my fps drops from about 180 to 30-50 ... its really annoying, i lag alot.

is there anyway to increase the fps while recording?

try GameFire works like Gamebooster but it's better with tweaks and such.

it's expected to lag since it's basically taking heaps of high quality screenshots of your game in one second.

What i'd recommend is record with half-size at about 30-40 fps, and don't record sound. For me, the game drags a bit when recording :\

    Fraps lag is normal.

Use a different recorder or get a better processor.
