    F-Secure, AVG, ESET

This man speaks the truth. Furthermore you'll do just fine without a paid AV, unless you're a complete retard.

Yep, I agree 100%. I'm using Avira free version and it's been pretty solid for the 2 years I've had it.
Got pretty much everything you need in the suite, also scored higher with Malware blocking than ESET did. Go figure.

Kaspersky is clearly the best, along with BitDefender.

Kaspersky is always the first to detect new malware, and blocks weird stuff like Network intrusion..

Nope, not really. They kinda lost their game as of late. And given the fact that Avira has a free edition ... yerp, I'm pretty much gonna recommend Avira. Personally I use F-Secure since I get it for free and I can't really be bothered to switch, I don't really ever need it anyways. If you know what you're doing, an AV isn't even required beyond the occasional on-demand scan or sandbox analysis. And even those can be done online or with more specialized software.

What are you looking for in an anti-virus? Best real time protection? Best virus removal rate? Best web security?

I personally hate anti-virus. I don't torrent anything or visit unknown sites. I just run Ccleaner and Malwarebytes fixes what little problems I do get. I would love a software that is just for web security though.
