    Gurren Lagann

Just finished watching it. Might just be the lack of sleep, but now I feel really weird -- but, isn't that how it always is when you watch the very last episode of a good show? Still, normally I'd be depressed -- maybe I've built up a tolerance to "post marathon depression", or perhaps I was just legitimately content with the ending. Who knows?

EDIT: If you go read the posts in this thread skip the first post. Starts off with a massive spoiler.

It wasn't even 1/4 into the show that he died. Not exactly ground breaking material bro. Anyways, if you haven't seen TTGL, get the fuck out.

It's actually just barely over one third, and probably the biggest plot twist in the entire series.

Yea no. I'm questioning whether you've even seen TTGL now.

Happens on Episode 8 and there are 27 episodes -- although like one and a half of them are just filler ("compilations"). So make that 26 episodes, 8 x 3 is 8, 16, 24. That's almost a third, right? You said it "wasn't even a fourth". Eight times four is 32, if you can't do math. Also, it's the biggest plot twist if you actually liked Kamina -- which I did.

/gives a fuck about nia being an anti-spiral robot
/gives a fuck about her disappearing at the end

You seem like the kind of person who would watch this subbed. Personally I loved all the voice actors who worked on the dub (although for a while Nia sounded exactly like starfire which was a little weird but I never watched that show enough to give a shit).

I'm sorry but Kamina was a badass.

Why would you not watch it subbed?

Because I like to watch all my shows in marathons (one to three sittings usually) and a few hours of intense reading doesn't sound nearly as relaxing as sitting back and watching/listening to a cartoon that's spoken in my primary language. Like I said, the dub for this is really good.

Having to pay attention for hours on end, making sure not to miss anything. It's a lot more involving
