I can't believe it. I promised my dad a long time (~6 months) ago I would fix his Sony VAIO, but came to the point where I was convinced the graphics were fried like many. I decided to screw around with it, while looking for my other hard drive, and it just... I don't even know how to explain it... It wouldn't turn on physically, and nothing would turn on, exept the processor running, and the POWER ON light lighting up. I somehow got the screen on finally, and then the hard drive was doing the 'head crash' so I restarted and it is now running like normal. I'm hoping he'll pay me some monies so I can go buy some skittles, and a BF3 online pass.
Anyways, I FRUGING DID IT!!

His HDD was head-crashing at first... has not been messed with in for 6-10 months. but I have been working on it since I started this thread, appling updates, running into BS that I have to go and fix...
