well not really .
Like Snape said Sweden , Luxembourg , Norway , ireland , Switzerland , etc are more wealthy than germany .
there government might have more money in total (reason is there huge population)but the people on average don't have as much as most other european countries .

and the reason you see alot of german gamers with alot of paid items is because there country has more people meaning more germans who pay for the game . so it gives you the effect that they are all "rich" .
