MW3 Free Weekends - Is the game that bad?

Well, this is the second time I hear/see that MW3 have a free weekend. (And for me, the game is old and boring so..)
But, do they really have to give free weekends to get players? Really...

Well, what can I say. This is how I see a desperate action to save MW3.
But, in my eyes. They fail so hard. (makes the game look like shit to give free weekends here and now.)

They should rather allow trail accounts. (Like you could only play a MAX amount of time each week. And that you could only play some few maps and stuff...)


Well, what you guys think?

It is silly with free weekends... they make people buy the game, because all games are fun the first week. But Activision/IW (and Treyarch partially) does everything to sell more games.

That is just business though. There are plenty of businesses that is all about lying, which is even more silly.

MW3 can't be saved. It is so noob friendly (I know a lot of people would prefer this) and you can't be that superior guy, rushing around and raping with an Olympia, as you could in BO.

Trial accounts would be much the same in my opinion. A little less silly though and i would accept that.

They don't really need to make any kind trial/test thing, they have 3 CoD games in the top 6 most played games on Xbox for the last several weeks. And MW3 doesn't get better by being free for a short time.

Well, with the Trail, I could just get the trail and just use that. (so I could just make a new account every time I got banned. So I can try what ever i want )
No I haven't been banned yet. But would be useful for new hackers

Even tho, it kinda remind me of BF3.

It looks desperate that's why. Especially with the headline "Black Ops Outselling MW3" hanging over it right now. Free Weekend is Free Hacking to most people. I enjoy the n00b season but it looks desperate still.
