Just finished the series today, and I loved the whole thing.

The one thing I didn't like though was how the antagonist ("L") died 2/3rds into the show. I would have liked to have seen him live and outsmarted yagami light, Although I did like the additions of Mello and Near.

Any thoughts/comments about the ending or the show in general?

Eh i hate mello and near. Mello is just an overall annoying character and Near kinda just filled in for L.

Pretty neat how at the end it confirms that Light actually thought of L as a friend because he's waiting for him in the afterlife. Or he's seeing shit idk?
