How do you guys get over it?

We all know we can die any moment, any second, yet nobody cares.


Either I am a hell of pussy fearing death, the moment where everything turns black, the thought of losing the life which you worked so hard for and being forgotten. For me, the worst thing about death is really hard to explain, I don't care about the pain or eternal darkness(perhaps even hell).
I care about the fact that you'll be sweeped off this planet(if you know what I mean).


How the hell do you guys get over it?

How can you not care, I mean sure many people died for rediculous reasons but still, aren't you ever wondering whats going on in your dead family members mind? Dont you ever think like 'hes seeing nothing, feeling nothing and hearing nothing', yet he can be seen, he can be felt but hearing isn't ever going to happen again.

I dont. I enjoy living as it is. I cry when people that are close to me die,but u need to get over it. U cant be thinking about 1 thing,when there are billions of other things u can do.

Came up with the answer that one of three things will happen
reincarnation
heaven/hell scenario
nothing( as in you'll have no thoughts ect, just darkness)
dont think about death often since i always think of those 3 things and always lean more to the nothing theory

May i ask why you would think you would feel forgotten? My dad died 8 years ago, but we don't forget him.

It's cool, it was 8 years ago and he was pretty depressed. It was probably the best outcome for him at the time. It's not something i let hold me back though.
