Proving my point, racism was the worst in the south and therefore blacks were even treated worse after slavery was abolished, but if you go higher up north more blacks are successful, and that's because they were taken care of after being kicked out of their slave owners houses.
But I'm not afraid to say I'm ashamed of my race, maybe that blacks in canada are more peaceful because they aren't given all of those bonuses for just being black and over here we treat everyone the same, no advantages over one another. Anyway, just a thought..but maybe you should look into joining a militia.
They're pretty much everywhere, you just gotta know where to look.
It's not a bunch of lunatics like the media portrays them,
Militia's have been around this country since the 1700's, they actually played a pretty huge part in the Revolutionary War.
The reason I'm saying this would be your best bet, is that these guys do weapon and survival training pretty regularly.
Anyone can own a gun, but not everyone can perform under pressure and that can mean life or death.
Before I moved to Jersey I was an active member of the Boston Chapter of Sons of Liberty.

I learned an unbelievable amount of valuable information, and got some free weapons training from mostly retired vets.
It's not only weapons training though, I mean you learn A LOT of stuff essential to know in a survival situation.
I'm not sure if every Militia is like SOL in Boston, and you have to have a credible referral to join,
in my case my uncle got me in, at the time he was chairman of the VA in Seekonk, MA
He was a retired Vietnam vet with the Marine corp.
Anyway, it's just a thought and you might want to research it a bit.
Btw, I'm not sure how old you are, but this isn't the army. Minors are allowed to join.
There were a few members that had kids on the range taking gun safety courses,
and also some of the wilderness training.
