(single malt) Scotch, neat. The Glenlivet is a personal favorite, but J.W. is excellent as well.

Vodka's pretty ok too, and honey mead is nice if you want something really sweet. 1 part scotch whisky blend and 2 part gingerale is good.

For beer, I go for Sam Adams or a Blue Moon with a slice of orange. Miller/Bud light is garbage.

Add the whole mixture, without the vodka is just tastes like a milkshake - with no bite. And of course the milk is necessary
