I think because cats are cuddly, cute, and nice. I personally love cats, and I have 2 living with me currently. I used to have 3, but I had to put it down as it had liver failure, and the 2 cats I have now used to always beat up on her as kids. She was traumatized, and I feel like a bad owner for doing nothing about it until the day I took her into the vet and found out all this.

Yeah. The 2 cats I have now I got when they weren't even 2 months old. Cute as fuck, and they LOVED to play. As they aged in months, they got more "playful" as I called it with Olivia. (She was my mom's cat). They always "played" and they'd beat up on her, etc. When they got to about 1 year it dramatically increased in aggression. I mean, Olivia would literally MEOW, scream, and stay in one room all day hiding from them. We had to basically give Olivia her own room, had a litter box in there, and that was it.

I feel so bad that I didn't open my eyes and see what was happening. The 2 cats I have now are stubborn as fuck and never cuddle with me. EVER. Maybe once every few weeks, but that's bullshit. Cats are supposed to cuddle by my side every time I take a nap and go to sleep.
