Origins of Derp

On every game I've played on, people knew that Derp was related to stupidness and etc, but never knew where it came from, so I wanted it to explain it to my fellow MPGH members.
Derp comes from a character named Derpy Hooves from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Anyone MPGH member who reads this that is a brony, you probably knew this already.

Derp was based off of Derpy Hooves from MLP, than people started learning the word derp from there friends and they thought it meant duh, so than that was the beginning of derp's second meaning.
