Vista is a perfectly fine OS, the people that complain about it are the fags that got the pre-release versions and etc. and complained about it being buggy. From SP1 and on Vista is a perfectly fine OS.

Windows 8 is designed (at this point) around tablets. It's not meant to be for desktops. If they do make a desktop version of Windows 8 it won't be the tablet based, beta, pre-release that all of you fags are complaining about.

Mac OSX is the free open-source Unix kernel, except closed source, a few thousand dollars more, and "shinier". The worst OS of the 3 by a long shot. Deal with it Mac Fanboy.

I only like how the Mac Osx looks like. Another things in it sucks , can't run most games , programs etc..

And how far i know, most people use desktops , so , windows 8 is going to be another fail.

Actually, there's a lot more portable devices in use than there are desktops (not just laptops, but phones, notebooks, tablets, etc.) so I highly doubt it's going to be a "fail". They may even release a desktop version as well, but that's not needed to make it a good OS.

As for the looks of OSX, you shouldn't really judge an entire OS on the looks. And if you really like them that much, there's MANY programs out there that can make your Windows machine look EXACTLY like OSX. (I myself currently have the cursors from OSX on mine, and I've had the whole ensemble before.) So, OSX is pretty much useless.

Windows 8 is a tablet, desktop, and phone OS all in one for both the Intel and Arm processors. It is not at all restricted to portable devices (and there is no plan TO restrict it to personal devices.) In fact, you can download it for your desktop right now.

Afaik, whine is fairly efficient, it does not simulate the processor but rather just the windows api and environment and thus the performance hit should not be that big for most applications. However, needing this level of 'emulation' to run a piece of software isn't a feature, it is a drawback.

Oh, you mean the interface? Well, I suppose it isn't natively desktop friendly, however you can swap to the classic windows 7 interface quite easily. It really depends on what you have to interface with your desktop. I think this is more windows just preparing for the next generation of interfacing devices (i.e that hand motion detector someone posted a while ago.)
