Not your fault at all. Almost everyone in the scene calls it that, but because of this it has lost all meaning. All of a sudden if you alter the colours it automatically means you've "corrected it".
That is not the point I'm making. I'm saying that what you did isn't CC at all. It's just a label attributed to changing colours by a bunch of talentless editors. They think that just because it is referred as CC in the software that any use of that tool is classified as CC even if their use of it goes completely against what the tool was created for.
And I disagree, this does not look cinematic at all. It looks like an orange to purple gradient map.
CC should be used in a manner akin to the following.
As you can see everything still maintains it's original "colours" or "hues". However it is slightly adjusted to unify the lighting in the various scenes, and it still maintains the overall styling. The result is a cleaner and crisper image with plenty of natural vibrance. It doesn't just replace everything with hues of warm colours.

@Doc in my OCE i will use the CC allot less. and hope to find the same hues and such. Thanks for the examples!
