Here is a program that I found at another forum and I DL'd it, tested it and it works. (:
It's called Tune Up 2009. It comes with a patch and the serial code so you get the full program. IT's really awesome, cause unlike alot of those 'make you computer faster programs' this one actually works. I'm running Vista 32Bit on an HP laptop and my startup time was almost literally cut in half. You can also change your startup screen. The original cost is 49.95, so I think you'll be getting a good deal. You can also change the icons. All in all the program is great.
It works especially well for XP!!

Just a quick note, you have to disable or uninstall your AntiVirus software to run the patch, or it won't work and then you'll get these annoying popups about buying the software. (-.-) I was just like you and I was afraid to download, but I scanned the file.. here is the virus scan:

I was still a little skeptical so I ran a Kaspersky AND Norton virus scan AND SpyBot S&D, and it still found nothing.
