Play the tutorial, and play a lot of co-op along with a variety of champions. If you don't want to get flamed like crazy, stay away from PVP.

Is there something to know before playing it? Lol You pretty much need to know everything about the game to start playing the game.

if you played dota u will have no problems at lol playing at all, dota is harder to play than lol

Everytime you use a champ search for a build in solomid.net
Search for these MUST things:
Last Hit
Metagame
Item Builds
Runes
Masteries.
