I'm experienced in programming, how hard is C++?

Yeah so, I played with Python for about a year and half, and then Java as well but only for a year. What kind of learning curve would I be looking at if I attempted to learn C++? Not really sure I actually have the time to put down any real effort between my current classload/workload but if I could eventually release something as minute as, I don't know... a shoe changer (dafaq). But yeah, you catch my drift, just interested in an idea of what I'd be facing before I dive into it, if I do.
