Actually that is not a bad idea. He would work well also; I haven't jungled cho' gath before so I might just try that one
Have you considered Cho'Gath may be a good choice for that type of jungle role?

In a competitive play, teamfights are what make the game more fun and more faster to end.
You could have taked 30 mins to be from the outter turret (3rd one) to the inhibitor just because everyone will be defeding and every single round of minions will get you 300 damage for the turret.
In a single contested baron a team could just turn over a game.
If you take Vorpal Spikes first then the combination of that and his passive means that you can actually start jungle at red then clear bottom jungle, then do wolves and blue and you should be good to gank top. If you make sure you get all three of his abilities by then, then with the knock up, silence combo you should have no problems. Also his Ulti is like smite but better, as it deals a minimum of 1000 true damage to minions and monsters.
So overall I think he's not a bad choice at all and you should defo try it out

I wasn't aware of starting with your 'e'. I'm used to starting with the move that deals the most damage straight up when jungling; but I can see how this synergies' with his passive. I also would have started at blue because, well, he's an ap caster pretty much and that's the logical choice, but that route is much better.
Admittedly I would have skimmed over a guide by TSM or some other renown source prior, but its nice to get some first hand knowledge.
That is not a good jungle route just because no champ (bar shaco) can clear both wraiths and wolves before blue spawns, so no. Starting at red is a good idea as long as no-one is invading.
