1) Download Notepad++
2) Open you .dsr with it
3) Search the score line

gameOpt commonOption.scoreLimit "0" // [ 0, 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12, 20, 24, 30, 50, 100, 200, 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 2500, 3000, 5000, 7000, 7500, 10000, 15000 ]

4) Change the score limit by what you want
5) Save
6) Profit

Check for like 10 minutes in the file you said, cannot for the life of me find the score_kill stuff

This works on the ps3 and Xbox as well, but it is archived by different methods. For ps3 you need to open the elf file in ida and add the dvar in, while on the Xbox you can call the method with a c# application using sv_gamesendservercommand and console cmd.
