Worth upgrading to Windows 8?

In my opinion you should upgrade. I am working on Win 8 PRO for a month and a half and the difference isn`t that big. I see it as a better OS than 7 , faster , lighter ,games and big programs fly on it and it`s just fun. I haven`t seen or encountered a single problem with programs or the win itself . You choose m8

If you have windows 7 you can upgrade to windows 8 for $20 - worth it, IDK. I'll give it a shot, gotta format soon anyways

It would be still some money , probably not as much as the 7s. 300$ for an OS .... As soon as the sales start i`m getting it. These days a win can`t stay working more than 6 months (with luck).

if you have a touchscreen tablet, PC, or Laptop then get W8. if not stick with W7.

Well here are some things that I tested , just to see if there is a point in it. On my machine on the same disk ,same all , I installed both wins . I tested in a standby state how much of the CPU and RAM are used with some programs that are opened permanently on my PC (i.e. Photoshop , iTunes, IE and others). On the win 7 while not working my CPU stood at 11% usage (brand new installed ) , on the win 8 it was at 3-4 % . The RAM was at a constant 2-2.3 GB used on win 7 , on win 8 it maxed at 1.3-1.5 GB. In gaming I found the most interesting thing- on a different PC I installed a 8800 GTS 1GB and ran NFS The Run , I could hardly go above 30 FPS and Medium - Low Graphs . On win 8 on the other hand the game could be played at 50-60 FPS and on High without the machine trying to fly

. The core of win 8 is with less useless stuff in it , witch makes it more stable (for now). IDK guys , my tests show that win 8 wins every time . It`s even more compatible with programs for XP that can`t work on 7 and Vista.
