HDD is like having sex with a cow, doesn't feel much and can't please it, having a ssd is like having sex with a nice tight girl, aka its a good experience

Yeah load time, when it reads data.

Just put it this way, it takes longer for my BIOS to load up than it does for Windows.

    I run Samsung 830 128GB and a 1TB HDD.
    Pretty fast.
I'd suggest using Vertex 4 with the firmware update or Samsung 840 with a HDD for movies, music etc

SSD over HDD , but with SATA 3 the difference isn't that big (bout 20%) in speed , but if you have both SSD and HDD keep the SSD for the OS and the HDD for storage ,at least that's how I do it

Random read and write speeds are worlds apart between the two what you're saying may only be accurate if you were just comparing potential bandwidth.

A SATA 3 2 TB with about 250 MB /s read/write is still cheaper than a SSD 640GB with 500 read ,550 write , witch isn't achievable (tried it on SATA 2 , on SATA 3 goes about 300 MAX) . But still a 120 GB for the OS and 640GB / 1 TB for storage and everything is perfect. From all the manufacturers ADATA and Intel are the once I tried and they do work perfect ,but still there is Corsair ,OCZ and others .

Speed and bandwidth are different in this scenario.

    Buy Both SSD and HDD.

Install Os on SSD and use the HDD for download's and other stuff.
