Congratz, make your country proud. And remember, don't die for your country, make the enemy die for his.
My name is Coby Lee Fisher, and as of yesterday i am a Enlisted Marine of the United States of America. I plan to ship of to Basic Training July, 29th 2013. My projected MOS is hopefully going to be a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist. I scored a 57 on the ASVAB, So after a few years in the Reserves i am going to sign for Active duty and something with intelligence or technology. I had to receive an Admin Wavier for my weight though, because i weighed in at 117 pounds, and the minimum weight is 125 but my BMI was 17.9% so it was just enough to get me enlisted! Got the Wavier approved that very same day, Thanks to my Liaison. So just wanted to let the community know! Thanks.

117 pounds? I doubt you can even bench 20 pounds? Do you even lift?

A better attitude to have is not that you're going to suffer through it, but that you're going to conquer it, consider the rigor your new way of life. What you do and how well you do it from the point beyond boot camp can affect who will live and who will die. So,"Semper Fidelis," "Be all you can be," and remember "The only easy day was yesterday"

I can only lift a fork. iJelly
I can curl 30-40 pounds with each arm. They wouldn't have gave me a waiver if i was just skin and bones, i passed what i needed to pass. Now i have to get ready for what lies ahead, which is going to mean warrior training with my recruiter and what not. It doesn't matter how i look now, it matters what i am going to be after i finish and graduate from boot camp.
