    VAC bans are delayed.

    You will only get banned if a hack is detected more than once over a time period on a couple of weeks.
    This is to prevent mistakes, false detections etc.

    Delayed bans might hide the detection of hacks, yet you can screw up lobbies long enough to let half of the server rage...
