Too late to buy ps3?

Honestly I wouldn't buy a PS3... I wouldn't have bought it when it first came out, nevermind now..

As others have said I'd stick with your PC and go for the PS4 when it comes out, if you actually want to.... I haven't touched a Playstation since Ps2, and haven't regretted it.

PS4 is coming in Q3/Q4 2014... New Game titles like GTA V will be released late 2013 for PS3, so you still have a long way to go...

if the ps3 super slim just came out, then go ahead and buy it. video game companies keep solid time spans between new hardware releases imo.

I don't know why people recommend waiting. You guys realise that is incredibly likely that there will be NO backwards compatibility. That's the entire PS3 library made unavailable. You have at least 2-3 years AFTER the PS4's release before it becomes profitable for developer to start remastering PS3 games so at best if OP waits, he'll be looking at a 3 year wait before he can play any of the games he want's to play now and that's IF the game he wants is in the FIRST batch of remasters.

If OP has money, and if OP has games in mind that he want's to play then he should buy the PS3.
