I personally wouldn't get either, thousands of different tablets for sale, by reputable manufacturers, could definitely find a better buy with something else.

Has anyone got the Amazon Kindle Fire HD?
Usually I wouldn't opt for something like that, and would just go for the iPad... But the shop I work in has started stocking them so I get discount yesss.... (plus it's already a shit load cheaper).
Here's some info on it for anyone who hasn't seen it.. By the looks of it you can pretty much do what you can do on an iPad, not sure about the apps though.
Kindle Fire HD - Stunning 7" Tablet
Does anyone think it looks decent or should I just go for the iPad or...? (not sure if there's another thread on this, didn't check).

Don't buy an iPad, iPhone, or a tablet. They all suck and you'll regret it after you buy one. Rather buy a laptop
Yeah, I just don't wanna get a shitty one and Amazon seem like a decent manufacturer. I'll keep looking, the main thing I don't wanna do is buy one I haven't heard anything about...
And need something for work, my iphone's too shitty to properly browse the web and shiz. Already got a laptop but I wouldn't take it into work... Not in my town atleast... A Tablet seems like the perfect solution at the moment. And yeah i'll probably be like what the hell did I waste my money on that for, but either way i'm getting a tablet just need to decide which one...

Buy a fucking HTC. Really those are some fucking smart shits. But if you're stuck with tables go for an iPad. This Kindle shit sucks.
I personally would either buy a really top-of-the-line android phone or get an ultrabook convertible that is actually tablet sized, and not on of those huge awkward ones.

I've been eye-ing this one VAIO Duo 11 Ultrabook Laptop | Windows 8 Touchscreen Ultrabook Computer | Sony Store USA
small and powerful, features a dual-core i7-3517U 1.9 Ghz, can be clocked up to 3.0 Ghz, and Intel® HD Graphics 4000 which if you youtube around you can see it plays modern games decently from atleast medium to potentially high settings.

Amazon lose profit From each kindle sold...
I'm stuck with my iPhone on contract for the next 12 months so switching to a better smartphone isn;t really an option...
And I've seen them laptop things, but daum, my wallet couldn't warrant that price. Looking to spend a max of £200 really, my hours & pay have gone up but I've gotta' move out and shit don't have that type of cash.
And is that true? It would surprise me because apparently each iPhone only costs apple around £10-15 to make (i read somewhere) - Like the actual physical parts.

i have a kindle fire the original one and it was great after getting a custom kernel, rom, and superuser access. the kindle fires are fairly decent for their price, there may be thousands of reputable manufactures for tablets in general but not many for that price range i would go for it plus when someone gets to deving for it, it can only get better from there.
