there is no longer a config.cfg file, it has been replaced by user_sp.cgp

i believe the file is encrypted, and if anyone could help in finding how to open/ save it, that would be great.

im trying to find all the custom settings, for things like texture quality, and special effects.

yea, this is no fun. the first thing i was going to do was a make a special "ultra" config to max out the engines potential on graphics and sound.

yeah its picture encryption software as far as i have read picture must be hidden in the game somewhere maybe .. maybe a good coder can use the same method as cracking games on this. "to see where it looks when trying to access the file itself."

I'm sure someone will do a tool to edit eh config soon... I'm not good with encryptation so... yeah, we just have to wait (I hope)

the file can't be edited. if you change a binding then black ops 2 will just take it away at startup.

It's called read only permissions. It can be done. No one said it would be easy.

Just look at IDA for decryption functions. Game has to be able to read it somehow. I'll check later.
