i have used external crosshair since day of release and no ban yet.. i think im gonna stop using it until people figure out whats going on with this "new anti cheat" system lol

It depends on which one you use I suppose.
Those who got banned used some that was posted here.

Must say I'll be glad if COD Black Ops 2 anti cheat system is fantastically hard to break, Although I use hacks on MW3 - Ive never used any hacks on any other games - and I've been gaming for over 20 years (and since 1996 online). I was drawn into the hacking world through MW3 and the sheer number of hackers playing, hey don't get me wrong I love hacking now - but would prefer hack free gaming, although - I'm not naive and understand - that's almost impossible in today's gaming world.

I'd rather pit my skills and ability against others - proving I'm better
and not use a program to ' ENHANCE ' my lack of skills.

Because Ive got COD Black Ops 2 - I will play it - if it goes the same way as MW3, WHICH IT PROBABLY WILL, Ill cheat !! lol - for a bit - then move on. I'm surprised they haven't employed the likes of punkbuster - which seems to catch alot more cheats.
I played Americas Army 2 and 3 - which was punkbuster protected - there were some hackers - but not many and there was talk of hardware banning too- whether it was instigated I dont know

Fuck yes, now I can play legitly on a CoD game now. The only reason why I started hacking in the first place is because there were hackers in EVERY FUCKING ROOM in mw3. Now there's this new anti-cheat system which is freaking hard to break, FUCK YES.

ive tried asking steam support to see if vac is enabled on zombies but they keep saying bs that only info is on steam store will repost if they actually reply

According to master131's look @ Zombies, there should be no VAC2 (VAC) to run at startup.
Which means it's mostly like safe to use hacks in Zombies.

According to some (respectable) people, VAC isn't even loaded on MP due to issues with TAC (TreyArch Anti Cheat). I'm not sure cause I didn't dare to search for this myself... there're also reports of people getting banned just for running OllyDBG in background while playing.

Maybe change the "title" to: No VAC in Zombies?

being offline doesn't change anything as the Anti Cheat can run locally on your PC and, when the internet connection is back, upload your info to their servers.

i just got a reply from Activision they said the following Thank you for contacting Activision Customer Support. I'm glad you let us know
that particular issue that you have. VAC 3 are currently available in steam. For
further information you can give them a contact. and on the actual website they said this message Send an information where they can contact steam then to have further information which dont get wth they mean at last park i asked if vac was enabled hope helps everyone even though dosent answer my question if was in zombies
