Watch a lot of tutorials and just do practice. Its not that hard once you put a lot of time into it.

Go to ciollege or night school dude, read and watch tutorials. there are plenty on YouTube to help you.

Also get CS6, if you look on this forum theres a sticky post by Ravallo and he has a crack for it

Fool around in Photoshop and test out all of the tools, filters, etc.
I learned my way around the programs just following youtube tutorials as a starting base, and then branching into text tutorials, and so forth.
The more time you spend in something, the more you'll understand it. (Obviously)

Watch this series, it's one of the first things I watched when I started to learn photoshop. Before you start just doing tags and stuff you should know the basics of photoshop.

Also don`t expect just to become good at this, for most people it takes months if not years to become intermediate let alone a professional . Tutorials , lessons and such are a good start ,but everything is in practice .
