Yep, you can throw it way further than in mw3 and that even without jumping + if you're using ps3, just double tap the square to detonate immediatly so you can like throw, double tap square and detonate before it even lands, so it's actually really handy if you need it fast ;p

It's not because CoD is easier on Xbox. Some people think the controller is more comfortable, including me.
If you think it is easier on Xbox it is because you see US commentators playing on Xbox. People are much worse in the US. I don't know why, but they just are.

Well, I once held a controller and it's indeed more comfortable, but it could indeed be cause of them commentators. What I did notice is that American players aren't great, true that, but the UK and Belgian people are and that's the problem for me, cause I'm from Belgium and only connect to tryhard ******s with the PDW, hardcore camping in the corner.(and that's what I mean with good, ofcourse there are actual pros, but most of them are playing like that) I don't know, maybe people in the US aren't that good and some of them are and make it, but I doubt that's the only counting factor for that.

Yeah, trying to do the same, still need KSG and m1216, but can't unlock them yet. I had to prestige in order to get unlock tokens, thought there were enough for everything. So now I know I shouldn't buy crap anymore, just the things I like. Currently prestige 1 lvl 30, so I can't get the KSG yet, but I'm working on it
