Some Pop Out Attempts

Dug these up out of some old photobucket album and decided to see what you guys think:

You should have chosen a render that doesn't get cut off. The second is better though.

Agreed, I like the second better as well. These are about 2-years-old now, along with this being my first attempt. I've done better pop out sigs since then, but I can't seem to find that photobucket album lol

I really don't like how the render gets cutout, and also the text needs work.

Yeah, render cutout was no fun. Not sure if that was a problem with the render initially or after I added it into the sig, but probably the latter o_o
Tell me about it, even 2 years ago to now have I been terrible with text lol

How long had you been doing Graphics for when you made this? I'm just curious. ^^
Simple effects would probably work better with a pop out, but I haven't done graphics in a while and I don't even have access to my resources right now (just got a now computer) so this is just my personal opinion on what may work. I may be completely wrong. Sorry I don't really have more input.
