Error; Unhandled exception caught.

Hello MPGH'ers.

Since today i've got a problem with my Call Of Duty Black Ops II..
If i start the game it brings me to the start screen but it doesn't show me the 'Play Game' , 'Options' etc..
After a while it gives me a error box with the text: ' Unhandled exception caught ' ..
Is there a way to fix it?

Run as admin, disable firewall n scans ? u never know

The first exception thrown is while getting the CPU speed.
The second is when fetching a file while starting the main thread..

Both should be handled though.. Oh well, it's worth checking..

Same thing happened to me enable your sound card or whatever you use to plugin your headphones into. If you don't have one the game may never work!

Well, this can happen, even if you haven't hacked, it will always crash when ever you run that. It always crashes when I try to view the leaderboards on zombies.

had the same error and got it fixed..try to get lower your friendlist on steam under 60..this causes the leaderboard error and has been mentioned by many tweets to the pcdev team.
3arc failed to give enough space in coding the leaderboards hurrdurr

This happened with me but strangely i would reset my comp and itd be totally fine!
