Is a HD screen worth it on a Laptop?

I was looking to buy this laptop:
SONY SVE1512E6EW Wit Alle laptops bestel online bij Media Markt

But, looking at a few other sites, it appears to not have an HD screen.

Is that worth it? If I would want an HD screen I'd have to throw in another 100$ atleast, and I don't have that.

The screen is only 15,5 inch so would you even notice it being HD?

That laptop is hell cheap for its processors etc..

Mine costed 699€

I only have dual core 1.65Ghz & 4GB Ram DDR3
But i have HD & 17.3 Inch screen :l

I wish i could switch my laptop for that :c

I went to the Mediamarkt a couple months ago, and they told me that Sony laptops arents so good, you only pay for the name Sony, and not whats on the inside..
