He's not looking for muscle, just to gain some weight.
My biggest problem is working on my core, I can easily get muscular through out my body except for my stomach area, I just hate the fucking burn and I just completely give up.
I've been working out for like 6 months and my core hasn't really improved much.

Sounds like my issue. My core is the one area I HATE working out because of my stomach issues, I cramp up like crazy. I have a new regiment that consists of a thousand situp variants a night that I am starting on Sunday though. 250 crunches regular. 250 crunches laying on the right site. 250 crunches laying on the left side. 250 crunches with my legs on my bed. It worked for a friend of mine, you could see his abs coming in, in a mere two months. When he added in cardio he looked crazy ripped on the core. He does them every single night, it's crazy, I'm going to not be able to lean up for the first week, but I want those fucking abs.
Are you talking about straight up gain fat or muscle fat?
Quickest way to gain weight is carbs and high sugar foods.
If you're a gym rat and want to gain muscle, then drink whey shakes and eat a bowl of rice or pasta before you hit the gym.
A good source of Amino acids and protein is a must.
Also lower your cardio work out and replace it with more strength training.
