So if you guys read my old thread, that discussion was done...and now i have something else to ask you guys....

Main question: what can i do to lower all the sounds expect for the breath? i dont want to kill my ears with all the gun sounds and the mission complete sound....

Here's what i think will help: turn off gun sound and other unnessary sounds by replacing their sound file.
(which i dont know how to do )

So help?

i wont remove them, i will replace them. i will look for a quiet sound file or i will turn the volume of that gun sound eff down...... either way, i need a program to edit it. Dont have the time now x.x too much homework, and got a essay that is going to be due.

you have to unpack the .rez file, find all the weapon sounds, change the sounds so that it's quieter BUT STILL THE SAME FILE SIZE. Repack the files back into a .rez file that can be used by crossfire and not get detected for modding game files.

ok so here's what i did, i tried to change the gun sound driver, but it's patch cuz of hck.ers...
i heard people say that gun sound came from the server x.x

just play without modding the files. yes, the other guns and other sounds maybe loud but you don't have to turn the volume up to 100 to find ghosts efficiently. being an ex ghost player, I can tell you that in pubs it is best you stay away from your team. you don't have to be by yourself, you can follow that one guy with the silenced gun and shift walking. if you're isolated from your team it is a good chance ghosts will be around too because ghosts usually stay away from groups of gr, unless they are from panthers

Ok I quit... There's no way I can get past the raz file....
So I was playing, trying out pinpointing, but I can't hear ghost breath unless I turn the sound on really high, help?
