I wouldn't really want to get an eight core processor and a very high end motherboard.
I have now saved enough money from selling DayZ keys that i have enough money to get some upgrades. However I can't decide between getting a new mobo or a new CPU.
Current components:
Motherboard - ASUS M5A78L-M LX
CPU - AMD Athlon 640 (I think) 3.00 GHz quad core.
Upgrades (possible ones):
Motherboard - ASUS AM3+ Crosshair V Formula
CPU - 4.00 GHz AMD FX-8350 8-core 16MB cache
What do you think? My current Motherboard isn't very good but can support that CPU. But I dont know whether I should get the new Motherboard first so that overclocking will be easier in the future.

You don't need it.
Save it for a graphics card or something
Doesn't mean you need a very higher end motherboard
I would like to run Crossfire, however my motherboard doesn't have enough room. And if I did get Crossfire surely my CPU will create a bottleneck as @Sector A7 said.
Has this been situated or do you still need help?
