Stop Steam changing my CD Key back?!?!?!?!?!?! HELPPPP

Simple story really, my CD Key was banned, bought a new one, Darky's changer said it was unbanned, I used the changer to change it, and I thought I was all good.

Still said I was banned because in the registry my key keeps getting changed back. How to stop it changing back?

It has probably been asked hundreds of times but I looked thought FAQ and some other threads, couldn't find anything

If you're sure it's being changed back, use DayZ commander and make sure the launch through steam option is unchecked.

Thing is, I like to play Wasteland so I cannot launch through DayZ commander.

I CAN run the normal game without having steam open, so if I do this will it works?


Also, yeah I checked the registry before launching and it is the new one, then after it says I am banned it changed back

Edit: Got it working, thanks for your help.

One more thing, do you know if VA is safe to use with BE 1.186 update? One person on VA said it is safe but just want to make sure... Just bought one key cant be bothered to buy another :P
