i always made a private room and did powerleveling. make sure your naabaccount(so the one you keep killing over and over) keeps moving every 3 minutes orso. and if you make 140 kills he has to make 140:5 = 28 kills,, this always worked for me. so score would be
name Kills | Deaths
---------------------------------
You 140 28
Naabacc 28 140

got it? that should work. i have 2 computers so thats how i do it. If you dont have that.
then do it with a friend orsomething.. press thanks button if i helped you xD

Go to a room where there are a lot of noobs and do your thing. If you go in a room where there are a bunch of nerdy legit-pros, get the heck out of there because they will pwn you. Choose wisely who you play with and you will have a good kdr.

Go to Grey Hammer and camp the main glitch spots

I did that and got a score of 63 - 13 once

Or join a Grey Hammer CTF match on Bravo team and camp the flag with the M590 shotty

Or go under the map with a L96 and kill everyone (yes that glitch is still unpatched)

Or camp waverider with a L96 and a lagswitch, make it look like your popping outta nowhere and murdering people.

those both are very easy ways to improve your k/d legit and surprisingly most nubs don't do it. -_- i just take about 5 people per death and thats how i raise it.
