I should elaborate, I spend most of my spare time in studios because I repair and make most kinds of audio-electrical equipment. I also do quite a bit of home recording as well. Sorry if a came across as a bit of an ass last night, I was too drunk to be posting.

And this is why I own an Audio Technica ATH-M50. Never ever, going to buy any Beats products because clearly, they're crap. Had a Plantronics Gamecom 367 and 777 in the past. Both snapped on the headband because of the flimsy plastic. I've had these Audio Technicas for 6-7 months now and they are amazing. Durable, great sound quality and gives me eargasms all the time.

Perhaps some "gamer" headset may be better for consoles. I'm not sure what kind of signal, or what kind of surround sound clarity they put out, but I know when I went from Gamescom and Razers to AKG's on my desktop, my god, the improvement in clarity was immense.

The Tritons do a decent job, I really only ever play BF3 so it isn't too important. I've been non-stop in FireFall for PC and damn does the ambient soundscape sound sexy with the 10-3's. Then again they're 500 per monitor.

AT's are nice, uncolored sound with comfortable cuffs, great for mixing and gaming alike. They know what they're doing when it comes to audio.

Couldn't have put it any other way. Also, combined with my ASUS Xonar DX Sound Card, the sound is even more orgasmic. None of that integrated audio shit please.

The Chronic by Dr. Dre is actually one of the highest quality albums available, and they still use it to test how good speakers are in recording studios.
That's the main reason why Monster wanted him to endorse those awful headphones.
