Either way, installed Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, even though support will end in April, I do not care.
Ubuntu is nice, but getting some things to work are a project in themselves. Spend 30 minutes installing 9 packages so i can finally install a program

no idea, but I found it very pleasing when Ubuntu automatically found and installed my graphics card drivers, like holy shit.

You know, I was debating whether I should install Fedora or debian, but compared to .deb packages .rpm are more scarce.
I had no plans on installing windows because this computer had Windows XP SP1 back from who knows how long ago, and Ubuntu seemed the best choice for a
side computer that I may use from time to time, but not regularly like windows 7
Buy a new PC.
