I Got a Fucking Ticket
So, after school I drove myself to the bike shop because I need a new front brake...I got there and apparently they were relocating and were no longer open for business at that specific location so I just went home. I haven't biked in the longest time because of school, SATs and financial troubles so I just took the non-functioning brake off and decided to go on a 10 mile ride. Not even out onto the first street I get stopped by some asshole cop. I explained the situation & that I normally ride with a brake.I also mentioned my bike accident in which I broke my jaw...I said it's just stupid not to ride without one (normally). I guess he thought I was just some ****** hipster making up story because I ended up with a $75 ticket. GREAT.

You can get a ticket for having a bike without breaks?
I say dont pay the ticket and fight the charge.
