Hmmmmm umm.. I guess you at least learned about clipping masks. Umm Absolutely no flow whatsoever. Try picking a brush or anything you know of that goes in one direction so then it can keep the flow of your signature.

I think he meant it to have no flow whatsoever. Not all sigs need flow, especially cluttered sigs like this one.

yeah i dnt like this 1 of his he was doing good just the thing he used the cliping mask on doesnt go with the sig..

I just wanted to show him how to make clipping masks.

Anyways, This is my first one. I had a live tut with Vlad and than I did this one on my own with him watching. The thing I did most wrong was that I started on the left, trying to fill in that spot.

Any suggestions on what I could do?

No offense.
It looks horrible.

The splat is way to small and spreads out over a distance.
The random scratches take the flow out of it.

Let me tell you a little advice from the clipping mask expert.

When your placing your white brush, make sure you choose a big thick blood splat. Not skinny ones.

And when your making more than one brush, put them on different layers so you can erase what doesnt look good.

Not one big splat.

You cant really see it, but i took a corner of a splat and put it there.
Then i added another layer and made another splat on the side of it.
