So when MSN finally shuts down next month, i don't want to be forced to use Skype.
I just simply don't like it, the UI isn't as clean as messenger and the whole point that people can see my IP using resolvers just annoys me.

I want to avoid using skype in any way possible, is there any other messenger client that people will be moving to after MSN shuts down?

Are you really bitching about Skype not being secure? Holy shit, I (and many others) have been using it for years, and haven't really had any problems with it at all.

Anyways, if you want a voice alternative, the best one is Dolby Axon. The only thing is, the text chat for Axon sucks ass.

Who the fuck wants a program purely for text chat anyways, when you can get one that does so much more?

Oh, and you also have to take into account what OTHERS use, just because you use a program you deem better than Skype, doesn't mean the people you're going to need to chat with will.
