What's wrong with RotMG people?

So here's the story.

I was bored in RotMG, and I decided to wait next to the sea because the realm was about to close for Oryx. I then decide to do a joke, and started saying this:

"Duping Service! 0% Legit! You give me your item, and I guarantee that you will never get it back! @-snip-"

The next thing I know, a couple people teleport to me, and give me a crappy item as a joke, and once I give it back, they were saying "WOW" or "WOW IT'S LEGIT". Next thing I know, a couple people come along, and one decides to give me a banishment orb as a joke, and then some other guy gives me a Coral Bow.
I was like, wtf? Then we went to Oryx, and I realized I just got free items from pretending to be a fake duper.


Guys, is this the next method to get free items?!?!?

i always do this joke when i see someone pretending fo dupe, i would say "yes he duped my energy staff i cant believe he did this " and some idiot would give spd pots to the scammer

Ha, they either didn't care about giving that away, or you got really lucky. I'll try it one day though to see what happens. Like above said, it's best to have a friend or someone to say that "It's legit" so you get the trust and curiosity from noobs around you

I'm assuming you are talking about the duping method, and yes and no.

Doesn't matter where it connects; as long as you get duped items :P
