i dont know if this has been posted yet!
but insted of removing the char_blank.rez files
remove the texture.res file keep the char files so they have all there colour
this will make it so everything is white and the chars are like brown and stuff so its easy to pick them out ill post a screen shot in a minute.
you can also take out the shaders.rez file and its like no fog
