Makes people feel better. Stupid people make stupid posts, and they're easy targets for letting your frustration out. I flame people who lie, but most of the time I'm just being aggressive whilst maintaining a discussion and trying to refrain from as much ad hominem as possible.

That's just a cop out. Internet personality isn't indicative for real world behavior for 14 year olds. Most kids who flame here wouldn't hurt a fly in real life.

Because they feel they can hide behind the computer. There aren't any consequences to their actions. Get banned? Make an alt. That gets banned? Who cares, it's just a forum. They suffer no real life consequences so they try out being a tough kid. Trouble is it's really, really easy to see who's pretending and who's not.

I flame to let frustration out that im having in the real world instead of going off on someone in real life i vent out into words on a forum, if that makes sense.. lets say you are having a bad day.. and someone on the forums says something about you or your life or your GF you go off on them all that frustration that builds up you let it out on that one person, because you can.. beacuse its alot easier then going off on someone in real life

know what i mean? and im having some diffuculty's in real life, trying to find a job getitng the same fucking response over and over it gets really bad sometimes..

Atleast that is why i flame people sometimes.. i pretty much let all my anger out on Ales and Maj for a few days.
